Nearly all my life, I’ve been a word nerd (like my Dad); as a young adult, I fell for photography (using a 35 mm Pentax film camera in the unmatched beauty of the Grand Tetons); as a parent, I got lots of portrait practice; in mid-life, I became an aspiring bird nerd (like my mom). Then, with the passage of time, I found, sadly, I needed to buy condolence cards. And I couldn’t find one I liked!
So I began combining these interests and producing sympathy and greeting cards as a hobby. When one of our children needed to create a working website for a college class, SASHnotes was born in 2018.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoy what you find!

“If the God of the Bible exists, and there is a True Reality beneath and behind this one, and this life is not the only life, then every good endeavor, even the simplest ones, pursued in response to God’s calling, can matter forever.”
